100 Years Of Banwell School
Welcome to Banwell Primary’s page celebrating 100 years of Banwell School. For a century, this school has been at the heart of our community—helping generations of children learn, grow, make friends, and build confidence for the years ahead. Whether you walked these corridors as a pupil, supported the school as a parent, or helped behind the scenes as a staff member or volunteer, Banwell School has always been more than a building. It’s a place where local stories are shared and lifelong memories begin.
As we mark this special milestone, we’re reflecting on the changes we’ve seen over the years—new classrooms, evolving lessons, and fresh ideas to support every child. But what stays the same is the sense of belonging, believing and achieving. From school plays and sports days to fundraising events and everyday moments in lessons, Banwell Primary School has created countless opportunities for children to shine. We’re proud of the school’s heritage and excited about what the next chapter will bring for our pupils and families.
We’d love to hear from you. If you have photos, stories, or memories of Banwell School—whether you attended decades ago or more recently—send us your memories and help us celebrate the people who made this journey possible. Share a favourite teacher, a school trip you’ll never forget, or a moment that still makes you smile. Together, we can preserve Banwell School’s history and make sure the community spirit of these 100 years lives on.
